The Barley Mow
The Barley Mow, Banbury, was our very first quiz venue - and it's still going strong! For more than 15 years now, we've been running two quizzes a week, transforming what used to be quiet evenings into lively and engaging event nights. Our partnership has helped the local pub develop its returning customer base; with regular quiz-goers returning week after week, and new faces joining each event after hearing about our offerings. The result? Consistently strong bar sales and a great atmosphere, even mid-week and on traditionally slow nights. Beyond our weekly events, we've teamed up with the Barley Mow on a number of occassions to fundraise for in-pub renovations and local causes, raising money and contributing alongside the local community. We've become a part of the pub's culture - a regular fixture that customers look forward to every week.
Charities
Charity quiz nights have become one of the most rewarding parts of our work. Over the past few years, we've helped charities raise thousands of pounds for a range of causes - from local groups like the Volunteer Driver Service to national charities. Special, charity events are always lively and well-attended, giving supporters the chance to enjoy themselves while contributing to something meaningful. These charity quizzes have become highlights of our calendar - fun nights that bring people together while raising money for good causes. They're lively, social, and memorable, with guests often asking what other opportunities they have to come to one of our quizzes. Over time, they've grown into more than just quizzes, but community events that connect supporters, volunteers, and organisers, helping them fundraise year after year. For us, it's hugely rewarding to see these nights in action: watching people enjoy themselves, contribute to a cause, and want to come back for us! Knowing our quizzes help strengthen communities and support charities is what makes this work so meaningful.
